Incredible Human Brain worsening world, why?

Some of the achievements of human brain in the field of Science and technology.

• Stanford University researchers continue to develop breathable polymer based artificial cornea, which if possible will remove the need of transplantation of cornea and millions of people will see again.
• Construction crews in U.A.E Dubai, work endlessly on the Al Burj Sky scrapper  which is already the tallest man made structure on earth and is slated for completion in 2009 and it’s height will be above 1 km though final height of the building remains secret!
• One day in the past, the earth was a huge world or the universe for people but not it has become a small global village. Human being has already started colonized on moon and the next target is to colonize on Mars! All the other planets has become a neighboring islands.
• Japan discovers recently the artificial rubber which conducts electricity which will help the modern technology to make robots with artificial intelligence of feeling of hotness, coldness, pressure etc.!
• It was impossible for man to understand each other but now for 6.5 billion people to understand each other and understand the melodies of their songs within a second.
• Human being has discovered the artificial immune system to fight against different diseases!
• Man has able to break the original sequence of DNA and make new kind of DNA sequences resulting cloned creatures!
• Man has able to develop all the artificial technologies that he or she can do most of the things sitting in a room just commanding them. Man doesn’t need to work again as in past!
•  The brain of the man has made numerous medical breakthroughs and accomplished amazing feats of engineering.
• Man has done almost everything to keep the world as better place and peaceful place. Sir Isaac Newton gave the formula E = MC² but as a result man was able to visit the global universe! And nuclear weapons of mass destruction!

            What makes the human brain so marvelous, so great than others? No one knows! But bible says, in  Job 32:8 , “There is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty gives them understanding” This is the key point why people has more power to explore, understand than other creatures. But most of the people don’t believe on this fact because the brain is three dimensional. There is spiritual realm with it which makes a human brain rather than other brains!

Hindu people believe that every creature in the world has it’s spirit in it. But bible doesn’t tell this. It says a spirit only in a man!!! So we can see the big difference between man and animal.Also bible tells about what this spiritual realm of the brain does! “For what man knows the things of a man save the spirit of man which is in him?” (I Cor. 2:11). Man knows about man and the Earthly things!

Of course, No one can deny the fact that Human brain is an incredible one! But is it okay with it? Has the world become better place so far? However, there is flip side of man’s adorable ability!!!

• In Middle East, the terrorists rush in to the crowed place with people and blow themselves into pieces.
• U.S is not able to protect their people from Hurricane storms and every year the cities are inundated with water!
• In Africa, millions are starving due to famine and draught!
• There are wars and killings in Iraq, Afghanistan, Shrilanka, India, Nepal, Sudan and so on…….
• Millions of people are dying by natural disasters like tsunami, hurricane, earthquake, volcanoes etc.
• Hundreds of unknown and critical diseases are being born and threatening the world by taking thousands of lives.
• Human being is going to board in space and going to destroy the world by nuclear weapons of mass destruction.
• People are starving day by day for peace, love, security and stability of political and economical situations!

Why is it so even a man has the superior brain of understanding and the outcomes are always just opposite what people had expected? Everything done by man’s brain is okay and incredible but there are still great problems! What is missing then? Are the scientists, educators, philosophers and government leaders not attempting to devise the possible answer of such problems? Yes, of course! They have done everything to sort out such problems but it resulted the world worsen more! Still they are struggling to make the world better! They are not able to and will not be able to with their brains!

So what is missing again in the brain which was supposed to the superior than any other brains? You must think again. Until you know the missing element of your brain, you will never find the solution of the present problems! To know that missing element in brain you need to take the help of bible because no other books are there which can tell about it and solve the problem!

First see what our problem is. It is about peace! Everyone is seeking peace. There are wars, struggles, campaigns, treaties and lot of investments for peace, but where is peace there in the world? The peace is being rare day by day. What human being is not able to restore peace in this world even though he has got an excellent brain of changing the universe as a planet and detecting the micro organism causing HIV- Aids?

The reason is here in bible! “The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goes therein shall not know peace” (Isa. 59:8). Then who knows the ways of peace? Absolutely only God!! Then why we are not able to know God’s way? Again bible says,” Even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God” (I Cor. 2:11). Now you’ve got the idea that things concerning God and his will can be comprehended only by the spirit of God!

The reason man cannot solve his most pressing problems—war, disease, famine, murder—is because they are spiritual problems, meaning they need spiritual solutions. So we need god’s help and god’s spirit. This spiritual knowledge is found solely through the Bible. The knowledge is unlocked only when a person has the Spirit of God—which gives understanding—working alongside or in the mind of someone whose mind God has opened (John 6:44). The door is opened now, we can ask our creator to reshape our world or make a better place in his knowledge and authority. We can restore peace and order in him. The way is simple! Just believe Jesus Christ as your creator, lord and savior then he will send god’s spirit to dwell in us and then we can make channel or connection to god through the Holy Spirit. Then we’ll know god’s wonderful plan of salvation and the world! Let’s imagine, there will be no more famine, no wars, no disasters and to terrors but love, peace and joy everywhere, what a wonderful world will be it be! Why not try to know God’s plan or idea through this way????

Observation

Study Lesson:    Mark 3:20-30, Matthew 12:22-37

Mark 3:20-30: ‘Then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered, so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat. When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.” And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem said, “He is possessed by Beelzebub! By the prince of demons he is driving out demons.” So Jesus called them and spoke to them in parables: “How can Satan drive out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come. In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can rob his house. I tell you the truth, all the sins and blasphemies of men will be forgiven them. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin.” He said this because they were saying, “He has an evil spirit.”

Exploring and Understanding the text

1.         Why did Jesus’ family come to take charge of him? And why did they think ‘He was out of mind’?

2.         Even Paul was thought to be out of mind (Acts 26:24). Is there a pattern here?

5.         How did Jesus answer him?

Application:

·       What did we learn about Jesus, Holy Spirit and humankind from this passage?

·       Teachers of the Law accused Jesus of having evil spirit, but in return, they accused themselves of an Eternal Sin.

·       It reminds us of how stubborn man can be!

·      Have you been falsely accused for doing God’s work? Don’t be surprised. You are not alone. (Matthew 5: 11-12)

·      Thank for today’s lesson from God’s word and pray for walking with Jesus in faith and in guidance of Holy Spirit.

Jesus and his family:

a.        Jesus was becoming very popular

b.        His claims and behavior were unusual

c.        He was directly challenging the authority of the Pharisees and teachers of the law.

(Note: “teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem” – Jesus was in Galilee which was north of Jerusalem (Judea). But Jerusalem was the ‘City on a Hill’, so often in the gospels, it is mentioned as ‘come down from Jerusalem’).

 The accusation by the scribes:

a.        Possessed by Beelzebub.

b.        Driving out demons with the help of prince of demons!

c.        They did accept the fact that Jesus cast out demons.

d.        It was beyond the doubt, they could not deny the reality of his miracles or supernatural powers.

e.        But they refused to believe that this power was from God, because then they have to accept in his claims to be ‘Messiah’.

f.         Due to their hardheartedness or pride, they did not believe in him.

g.        Instead they were jealous of his increasing popularity, so they tried to destroy his reputation by accusing him of ‘possessed by Beelzebub’.

Jesus’ answer

a.        Jesus used three examples in his parables

·       Kingdom

·       House

·       Strong man’s house

b.        He used simple logic to disprove their false claims

c.        Why would Satan let his ‘possession’?

d.        Satan’s kingdom can not stand if he cast himself out!

e.        Similarly, house also cannot stand, it is is divided.

Superiority of Jesus:

a.        In the third parable, he talked about strong man’s house. In order to take possession, he first have to tie up the strong man.

b.        Jesus could only cast out demons, if he first tie up (or defeat) the possessor (Satan).

c.        So, Jesus was saying, that he and prince of demons are not working together.

d.        Not only that, but that He has a superior power to defeat Satan and rescue people out of his possession.

Blasphemy against Holy Spirit is

a.        Attitude of disbelief and unrepentant heart

b.        Deliberate, ongoing rejection of the work of Holy Spirit

c.        Hardheartedness or stubbornness to deny the work of Holy spirit

d.        Continually rejecting, resisting and insulting Spirit of God

e.        It is one thing to deny the Spirit of God ignorantly, but if you deliberately reject his work (despite of knowing his power at work), then you are on very dangerous ground.

Reason to declare eternal sin to the scribes

a.        They claimed that Jesus had an evil spirit.

b.        They described work of Spirit of God as work of Satan!
